Our Mission
Belair Inc Community OOSH provides high quality, before and after school care and vacation care for children who attend Belair and Kotara South Public School.
We are a not for profit, community based centre operated by volunteer parents whose children attend Kotara South or Belair public schools. We aim to provide a safe, fun and welcoming environment for all children.
We are committed to providing the highest quality of care within a program that allows children to play and participate in a variety of experiences. The program includes a combination of crafts, activities, games and sports on a daily basis.
Our Philosophy
We aim to provide a safe, healthy and supportive environment for school aged children during their years of middle childhood. We offer a relaxed and flexible program with an emphasis on fun and free play for children to reach their full potential.
We create an atmosphere where children have the opportunities for self-expression, self-discipline and direction. Children are encouraged to explore new and individual interests and embrace challenges in a positive manner.
We believe that children, families and staff have the right to be respected as individuals for his or her feelings, needs, abilities, uniqueness and culture. We acknowledge and encourage the differing cultural and social backgrounds of our community and support their inclusion into our centre.
Our service aims to follow the 5 outcomes as set out in ‘My time Our Place’ and integrate these into daily practices, routines, observations, evaluating and future program planning.
The 5 outcomes which the centre aims to incorporate are:

3. Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.

Our Hours
We operate all school term, providing care for children and families needing before and after school care sessions.
Before School Care: 7:00am - 8:30am
After School Care: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Vacation Care
7:00am - 6:00pm

What You Can Expect
Our Program
Our program is child-led with a variety of programmed and spontaneous free choice activities amongst different environments both indoor and outdoor within our centre. Our weekly program is based on children's interests, significant dates, the input of families and the community.
Some of our program consists of:
Dodgeball
Soccer
Date specific crafts
Charade and party games
Karaoke
Movie Days
Silent Ball
Chalk Decorating
And so much more!
Nutrition
Our services are happy to ensure that your child's dietary and health requirements are met at all times. Both Kotara South and Belair OOSH's provide a nutritious afternoon tea that complies with all NSW regulations.
Each week families have access to our weekly menu via our parent app OWNA and have access to all recipes upon requests.
**Our menu is nut free, vegetarian and gluten friendly**
